We are seeking a proactive and dynamic individual to join our team, acting as first point of contact for Medical Workforce Queries and administrative duties.

Main duties of the job

The successful post holder will act as a first point of contact for Medical Workforce queries.

The successful post holder will be responsible for:

  • Upholding a customer-focused approach, responding to enquiries promptly.
  • Be skilful in handling and resolving queries and complaints.
  • Be responsible for maintaining accurate records.
  • Be responsible for the co-ordination of various administrative activities.
  • Support the onboarding process for new Medical and Dental staff.
  • Support with engaging departments to address staffing needs.
  • Providing effective administrative support to the Medical Staffing Team.
  • Support with timely processing of payroll.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSE’s A*-C in Maths and English
  • NVQ3 (National Vocational Qualification) or equivalent experience

Knowledge & Skills

Essential criteria
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage own workload and prioritise
  • IT literate and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Professional demeanour, good customer service skills
  • Confident to handle queries from all levels of staff
Desirable criteria
  • Ability to operate staffing / finance systems – e.g. Healthroster

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience in busy administration role
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of working within a staffing / resourcing function

Specific Job Requirement

  • Willingness to be flexible in changing priorities and adapt to meet new demands
  • Remain calm and focussed under pressure
