Job overview
**This position is open to staff working at the Trust in the ‘ECT Family’ this includes current East Cheshire NHS Trust employees, both NHSP and ECT bank staff, ISS staff and volunteers at the Trust. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from applicants not listed within these groups.**
This post is fixed term for 11 months (until June 2026)
Hours per Week: 37.5 hours (part time, flexible working, secondments and job shares will be considered)

Main duties of the job
The role will also provide leadership support to AHP colleagues involved in the DCS project workstreams.
It will entail reviewing current documentation and processes, collaboratively working with East and Mid Cheshire to create a system encompassing patient safety and experience whilst providing an effective and user-friendly digital record system for staff moving forwards.
NB - This post does not require a high level of digital prowess; This role will focus on working collaboratively, leading and influencing and project management. It is important to have motivational skills to engage the workforce in the project, and you need to be comfortable in advocating for a multiprofessional workforce, ensuring subject matter experts in each profession are consulted at the right time in each of the project workstreams. Ability to use Microsoft Office and to be able to present and communicate at an advanced level will be required.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Registered member of the HCPC with relevant AHP Degree qualification
- Allied Health Professional with clinical specialist experience and leadership/supervision experience
- Significant clinical knowledge and inquisitiveness of other professions in the acute settings with varied experience, demonstrating multiprofessional working, good knowledge of clinical documentation, pathways, national guidance, local SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedure's)
Knowledge & Skills

- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Interest in digital working and data/informatics
- Confident, self-motivated and resilient
- Good influencing, negotiating and engagement skills
- Ability to interface between clinical staff and the DCS team to provide clinical advice and clarity

- Computer literate with experience of using MS Teams, Excel, Work and Powerpoint, presentation skills
