An exciting opportunity has arisen for Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join the diabetes team. Applicants must hold an MSc in Advanced Practice (or equivalent award). The post holder will be registered as an Independent Prescriber.

Interested applicants must have significant experience at a senior level with experience in leadership, education, research and  clinical practice.

Main duties of the job

The Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) will use specialist knowledge and skills to provide healthcare independently to individuals . The post holder will be a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner and act as a role model, delivering advanced practice and promoting clinical effectiveness in care.  They will lead on the national audits, GIRFT program for the diabetes service. They will work closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team and will play an integral role in the operational/strategic development of the service.
