- Provide a full range of secretarial support for two Consultants, including managing telephone calls, queries and day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Respond to non-clinical enquiries from patients, relatives, GPs, Consultants and other Trust staff.
- Liaise effectively with departments across the hospital to support smooth patient pathways.
- Prioritise and organise workload independently, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate tact, diplomacy and professionalism at all times.
- Use IT systems such as Word, Excel, email and internet applications confidently.
- Work flexibly to support other specialties within the CBU when required.
