Site Resource Manager
Band 7
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the well-established Site Management Team at James Cook University Hospital.
Working on a rotational rota of both day and night shifts, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the patient journey through the hospital as well as the safe placement of patients from the Emergency Department (ED), Clinics/Outpatients and emergency tertiary pathways.
This role requires close working relationships with the vast multi-disciplinary/specialty teams, the Heads of Nursing and Matrons along with Strategic and Tactical command .
In order to succeed in this role you will need to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will need to have the ability to deal with challenging situations in a fast paced environment in a professional and calm manner.
We are looking for individuals, preferably with acute operational experience but not essential in a management role with excellent communication skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure and experienced in problem-solving in an operational environment.
