An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven team player to join the rapidly growing pharmacy team at the The Friarage Hospital (FHN). You will be working within the busy pharmacy dispensary team assisting in the provision of an effective and timely service to the patients and staff of South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust under the leadership of the Pharmacy Manager.
Main duties of the job
The role consists of supporting with running of the pharmacy dispensary including covering reception, using the pharmacy tracking system, packaging medication ready for deliveries, putting away stocks and medication onto shelves, filing prescriptions and paperwork, expiry date checking, providing cover for stores when needed and other general housekeeping duties.
The successful candidate will work full time, 37.5 hours. 08.30-17:00 Monday – Friday. They will also be included in dispensary weekend rotas and will contribute to bank holiday working rota

- GCSE A-C level English and Maths or equivalent
- Knowledge of a range of secretarial procedures and software programmes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively exchange routine information to a wide variety of staff, patients and external agencies
- Good keyboard skills
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
