We are currently looking for Sterile Services Drivers to join us to work in our busy Sterile Services Department. The Department provides an important service within the Hospital, Decontaminating and Sterilizing Surgical instruments for the Operating Theatres/Wards, Departments and external customers. The Department is fully accredited to European Standards and works within a Quality System.
Applicants will also be given training to cover varied methods of sterilization of surgical instruments and theatre sets.
This is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week.

Shifts will include a half hour meal break, consisting of varied shifts and rostered on-call and bank holiday service.
Main duties of the job
This is a varied role requiring many different skills, for which we will provide full training. You must have GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent and willing to become familiar with many different locations within the trust. Previous Sterile Services experience is helpful although not essential but you must be able to communicate well, work within a team and take instructions.
