The Digital Training team will be responsible for delivering the training for the new eCare system.

You will help provide a welcoming and professional administrative service to the Cornwall IT Services Training Department and provide a single point of communication for the digital training team when they are out of their offices or otherwise unavailable. 

Provide a full range of administrative duties for the Digital Training Manager and Digital Training team. 

This is a fixed term position until 31 July 2026. Secondments will be welcomed, subject to line manager approval in line with the Trust Secondment policy.

Main duties of the job

As a Digital Training Administrator you will plan and assist in co-ordinating diaries with training delivery at various Trust locations, book training venues, and liaise with other services to negotiate the use of facilities.

You will be motivated, flexible and will enjoy working in a fast-paced and challenging environment. It is essential that you are a team player and have excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

This post is full-time working 37.5 hours per week. Flexible working may be considered but your primary base will be Royal Cornwall Hospital. You maybe required to visit other training venues in Cornwall, so your own transport will be required.

  • NHS Trust Mandatory Training

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths minimum grade C or equivalent
  • NVQ3 Business Administration or equivalent practical experience demonstrated

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Strong non-clinical Microsoft IT Skills including excel and power-point with advanced typing skills.
  • Experience working in a medium / large-scale provider service-oriented organisation
  • Practical knowledge and experience of working in a busy office environment.

Practical and intellectual skills

  • Ability to take minutes and transcribing them to a high standard
  • A calm and organised approach
  • Self-motivated and ability to work without supervision, within established procedures to objectives, referring to manager as necessary.
