Job overview

The post holder is responsible for the delivery of care and the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of individual programs of care. They are expected to take delegated responsibility in a given shift for a group of patients.

With experience the post holder may be expected to take charge of the department in the absence of their Recovery Manager/Deputy.

This is a part time positon of 20 hours per week

Main duties of the job

Immediate post anaesthetic care of adults and children undergoing major and minor surgery.  Care of high dependency patients, and post proceedural interventional radiography patients.
