Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Lerryn Research Team as a Research Team Leader/Charge Nurse. We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual with managerial and leadership skills who will play a key role in the implementation and delivery of the clinical trials at RCHT.
This role involved working with the Lead Research Nurse to ensure strategic development and operational management of commercial and non-commercial research activities, working collaboratively with our partners across the region.
The successful candidate will be NMC registered and will have a strong and proven nursing background with leadership and experience in managing and developing teams. You will have exceptional organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, as well as being adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Research skills are advantageous, but a passion for research and developing knowledge in this area are essential.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team to ensure the successful delivery of clinical trials with a commercial focus in line with CRDC objectives.
Drive growth and development of the team’s trial portfolio, identifying and implementing opportunities for expansion.
Collaborate closely with team leads and other departments to achieve project objectives.
Adapt to shifting priorities with resilience and a proactive mindset.
Demonstrate flexibility by working outside standard hours and across multiple sites as protocol requires.
