INTERNAL ONLY TO NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES
We are looking for two enthusiastic, highly self-motivated individuals to join the Aseptic team of the Pharmacy Department, working towards registration with the Science Council as a Science Manufacturing Technician.
You will follow an appropriate training period including studying towards the Science Manufacturing Technician Qualification through Skills 4 Pharmacy, this is a distance learning course. On successful completion of the course and subsequent registration with the Science Council you will progress to a band 4 post.
Main duties of the job
The role is varied and will include
- Co-ordination of day to day activities.
- Preparation of aseptically prepared products.
- Environmental monitoring.
- Dispensing of outsourced parenteral products.
- Undertaking pre-process checking of assembled trays.
- In-process checking during preparation.
- Generating worksheets for aseptically prepared products.
