Agency and Medical Bank Team Administrator, Band 3, Parkhouse, Carlisle. 26.35 hours available 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient and motivated individual to join our busy Agency and Medical Bank Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that has been nationally recognised and has been responsible for delivering savings to the Trust directly linked to the management of agency and bank staffing. You will be a key point of contact supporting the Agency Coordinators to ensure that agency and medical bank staff are available in locations required to deliver a safe and effective service for our patients.

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting and interesting role supporting the Agency and Medical Bank Coordinators in the delivery of the service . You will be expected to manage your time effectively working closely and liaising with the Coordinators,  E-Roster team, Collaboratives and Medical Workforce to support the coordination of agency and medical bank staff requests to meet business needs ensuring that due diligence is undertaken and that bookings deliver best value for money.

Person specification

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSEs in Maths and English
  • NVQ 3 or relevant professional/ work experience
  • Working knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages (especially Word and Excel)
Desirable criteria
  • Public Sector (particularly NHS) or Commercial Temporary Staffing Agency experience

Knowledge and Experience

Essential criteria
  • Significant administrative experience in an Agency/HR/Recruitment/Operational/Commercial or Customer Service setting
  • Understanding of administrative processes and systems in a busy environment.
Desirable criteria
  • Working in NHS Medical Staff Recruitment
  • Understanding of issues relating to Medical Staff recruitment.
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems.
  • An interest and/or understanding of the NHS and/or NHSEi guidelines/directives
