12 Months fixed term contract as maternity cover
Main duties of the job
You will gain a broad wealth of experience in a variety of clinical settings including ; emergency admissions, general medicines, surgery and frailty as well as dispensary
You will be supported by advanced specialist pharmacists in each rotation as well as benefiting from foundation level training. Our rotational pharmacists are also studying for diploma qualifications in clinical pharmacy practice.
We also provide a clinical and dispensary service 6 days per week and an on call service.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Registration with The General Pharmaceutical Council.
- MPharm or equivalent.
Desirable criteria
- Postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy or equivalent.
- Essential IT skills (EITS) or equivalent.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
- Broad clinical / pharmaceutical knowledge. Use of Microsoft Office & internet.
- Current issues within pharmacy & the NHS
- Use of Microsoft Office & internet
Desirable criteria
- Spreadsheet & database packages.
- Experience of Hospital pharmacy work
Skills & Aptitudes
Essential criteria
- Highly developed communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills.
