A passion and commitment to the improvement and transformation of clinical services will be key. Alongside having a flair and expertise in working with clinical and operational leaders to design, articulate and make happen significant change to our services for patient and staff benefit.

Main duties of the job

The Associate Director of Transformation (Clinical Strategy) will be responsible for the establishment and delivery of large-scale and strategic transformation programmes, specifically those concerned with the implementation of new models of care that are aligned to the delivery of the Trust’s clinical strategy and are central to sustainability.  The post holder will work with colleagues at all levels, including senior clinicians, executives, project managers and teams across Lancashire and South Cumbria. They will act in a highly autonomous capacity and require high levels of political astuteness.

The post holder will be expected to undertake direct programme management activities on specified work streams relating to optimising the configuration and delivery of clinical services.
