INTERNAL ONLY TO NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES ONLY
Quality & Safety Midwife Band 7 - 15 Hours available
The post holder will work closely with the Perinatal Quality & Safety Lead to develop and facilitate implementation of the Perinatal incident review process and lead the MBRRACE PMRT review process within the Trust. They will also provide specialist quality, safety and governance advice to staff within the Perinatal service.
Providing leadership and support for healthcare governance activities across the services, with a particular focus on incident review following using PSIRF methodology.
To deputise for the Maternity Quality & Safety Lead in their absence or as appropriate.
Main duties of the job
Clinical Midwifery Duties
Compliance with Band 7 Lead Midwife role within NCIC.
- Lead the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of Midwifery led care for mothers, babies and families during the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period in the hospital setting. Use developed specialist clinical knowledge to ensure women and family centred care
