Main duties of the job

Okeover  Ward is a 16 Bedded Ward providing care to patients requiring Rehabilitation, Complex Discharge Planning or End of life Care.

We are excited to be able to offer the opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals.  

Our Team consists of Registered Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Discharge coordinator and Ward Clarke as well as Housekeeping Staff.  The Team is Managed by the Ward Manager and Ward Sister and is overseen by our Matron. Every member of the team is valued for the work they do.

We are looking for an experienced  nurse as we are driven to add value to our team.

Our patients journey is our priority and we are seeking someone with knowledge, kindness and passion to join us in this focus.

Main duties will include:

To assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care in the most efficient and clinically effective way whilst maintaining the patient’s privacy and dignity.

To provide advice and support to junior staff in the delivery of high quality care and actively support the Ward Manager in the management of the health care environment.
