Are you dissatisfied with unrealistic work pressures , and conflicting objectives which prevent you delivering excellent patient care ?
As part of a major investment in clinical pharmacy services we are looking for ambitious and dynamic pharmacists to work with us in new " dedicated ward " roles. Working on a single ward you will build strong relationships across the multi-disciplinary team and will lead the prescribing of medicines during ward rounds and at discharge. The role will enable pharmacists to develop their skills to the highest level and make a real difference to patient care .
The roles have been developed to not only provide maximum benefits to our patients and service users, but also to allow individual pharmacists to thrive in delivering the level of care they strive for without having to compromise.
The pharmacy department at Chesterfield Royal Hospital is modern, pro-active, forward-thinking and well respected both locally and nationally. We are very committed to the development of pharmacist prescribing and have one of the highest numbers of active pharmacist prescribers in the country. Applications are welcome from pharmacists both with and without prescribing qualifications.
Good communication, time management and analytical skills will be required and the ability to work effectively in a team. You will also contribute to the provision of pharmacy services at weekends.
Applications are welcomed from pharmacists who will complete their post graduate studies in clinical pharmacy in 2020 or early 2021.
