Research Administrator

NHS AfC: Band 3

Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Research Department  at Chesterfield Royal Hospital in the role of Research Administrator.

Research is fundamental to improving patient outcomes; gaining new knowledge, building evidence bases, exploring new treatments. The role will provide administrative support to the Research team and offers a variety of work across the breadth of research management in the NHS.

Main duties of the job

This post will directly support the Research team in the management of research projects, with main duties focusing on supporting the research delivery team with project related administrative duties and study level data entry.

Involving working with multiple stakeholders across clinical and non-clinical teams in the Trust, as well as external sponsors of our projects, the role requires a capable, clear communicator. As research is a detail-oriented field, attention to this across our active portfolio of >70 projects is key to their success.

Working for our organisation
