Job overview

The housekeeper role  is vitally important to  the running of Basil Ward and we would welcome applications from enthusiastic hard working individuals. 

The successful applicant will provide direct support to the department in  order to meet their requirements, specifically by making sure the environment is kept clear, tidy and appropriately maintained and stocked.

Main duties of the job

To ensure the department environment is kept clean to a predetermined level and in accordance with the trusts policies and procedures.  There are 4 key elements to this role including

  • Moving & Handling and Food handling training

Experience

  • Recent experience of working in a health care setting

  • Experience as a HCA or Domestic within a health care setting
