Job overview
We are seeking to recruit a Recruitment Coordinator.
If you have a passion for recruitment and would like to act as focal point for the provision and administration of the recruitment service, using e-recruitment systems, then this role could be for you.
You will need to be proactive in the coordination of the administration of all stages of the recruitment lifecycle including advertising, shortlisting, interviewing, pre-employment/compliance checks, issuing of contractual documentation in line with agreed key performance indicators.
You will ensure managers and applicants/candidates receive timely updates on progress with recruitment activities, whilst providing advice and support where required to prevent delays.
This role is predominately home working, with requirements to attend base to undertake some tasks and team meetings.

Main duties of the job
You will play a key role in contributing to the successful implementation of the Recruitment joint venture service for DCHS and DHCFT, and other Service Level Agreed stakeholders.
You will deliver an effective and competent level of receptionist and/or clerical support and consistently deliver a “client-focused” service which promotes good customer service and effective working relationships.
Acting as first point of contact for the department, dealing with routine and specialist enquiries, in a pleasant and helpful manner, communicating relevant information to stakeholders, referring to others as appropriate.
Acting as a next level escalation point for Recruitment.

- 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C (or 9-4)
- Educated to NVQ 3 level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification, or significant equivalent previous proven experience;
Knowledge

- Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative environment and working with computerised data systems.
- Knowledge and experience of recruitment procedures and data protection requirements

- Knowledge of employment law related to recruitment
