We have a fabulous opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join a well-established, Band 5 rotation in Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire!

We have one, permanent full-time position available.

This rotation offers the opportunity to experience a variety of clinical settings within DCHS including Integrated Community Teams, Learning Disabilities , Neurological Out patients, Older Peoples Mental Health Wards, Acute Inpatient Wards, Adult Social Care and Community Hospital wards.

The successful candidates must be highly motivated with excellent communication skills, have the ability to work on their own initiative, but also be an effective team worker.

You will be expected to work flexibly and this may include working weekends/bank holidays on a rotational basis.

You will be expected to travel regularly throughout the locality of the team and therefore access to transport is essential.

The opportunity to develop advanced skills across a wide variety of different settings, the right candidate can expect to be supported and coached throughout each rotation, newly qualified practitioners are welcome to apply for this post.

DCHS provides a preceptorship programme for newly-qualified staff and is committed to investing in both clinical and leadership development of its staff through a robust process of regular appraisal and supervision. 

This is available to all grades and within all specialties.
