Identity & Access Management - Support Supervisor

Grade C/D

Job overview

Are you passionate about ICT Service Delivery and ready to make a real difference in healthcare?  DSFS Ltd is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Identity & Access Management - Support Supervisor to join our ICT department.

In this role, you will work closely with the ICT End User Services Lead to manage and enhance the Trust’s and DSFS’s Joiners, Movers and Leavers (JML) processes. You will be responsible for ensuring that access to systems is allocated accurately, securely, and efficiently, so that staff have the right access at the right time to carry out their roles effectively. Your work will support the delivery of safe, high-quality care to patients by ensuring our systems are reliable, secure, and well-managed.

As part of the ICT End User Services team, you will have your own areas of responsibility and be at the forefront of delivering a service that is essential to the Trust's operations. This is a hands-on, service-focused role, where attention to detail, clear communication, and a strong understanding of access management are crucial. You will work as part of a supportive team that is fully committed to service excellence, contributing to wider DSFS digital transformation goals.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment while contributing to the future of digital healthcare. If you’re excited by the challenge and want to be part of something that truly matters, we’d love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone with a proactive approach and a strong sense of accountability.  A good understanding of access control principles and the importance of accuracy, particularly within clinical systems, is essential.  Previous experience in managing user access would be an advantage. Most importantly, you should be eager to learn, ready to take initiative, and committed to playing your part in supporting NHS staff and patients alike.

The Identity & Access Management – Support Supervisor will lead a team responsible for undertaking routine administration tasks related to accessing the Trust IT Applications.  This includes secure password management, ensuring access is granted, modified, or withdrawn in line with service requests, and that access controls are in place to protect patient and staff data.  In addition to overseeing these activities, the Supervisor will also be actively involved in carrying out the day-to-day tasks as needed, working alongside the team to ensure staff are provided with timely and accurate access to ICT systems, enabling them to perform their roles in delivering high-quality patient care.
