This exciting role leads the newly reconfigured Trent Perinatal Operational Delivery Network. The role reports directly to the Network Chair and spans 8 Acute NHS Trusts, 11 Acute Trusts and a stand alone Neonatal Transport Network (CenTre).
As Director and Principle Officer you will provide strategic leadership in the Network driving forward the delivery of the annual work plan through each locality in the East Midlands.
The EMODN and its constituent parts is a virtual organisation with its own organisational structure. As a virtual organisation it is physically hosted by Derby Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and based at the London road Community Hospital but has it's own budgets and governance structure for which the Director is fully accountable.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
