Bank Midwife  Band  6

Are you are a Registered Midwife, or completed a Return to Midwifery Practice Course or wishing to return to midwifery following a break of less than three years, if so we want to hear from you as we have exciting opportunities within our Maternity Services for Band 6 bank Midwives.

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and compassionate Midwives to join our fabulous team on the bank.  We have opportunities in Community and Acute Midwifery services. 

Main duties of the job

We place the woman, baby and family at the centre of our service.  We are a consultant led unit with a dedicated Midwifery led care area within our delivery suites and deliver care to a diverse population with complex medical and social needs working alongside a team of Specialist Midwives.   

UHDB has cross sites with consultant units at Derby and Burton on Trent, alongside Birth centre at Derby and a freestanding birth centre at Lichfield.
