Job overview

We are seeking  to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic support worker to complement our multidisciplinary team within the lymphoedema service at Kings Mill Hospital.

The post holder will enhance the patient experience by contributing to a friendly, and welcoming clinical environment for patients and visitors.

The Derby Lymphoedema Service provides a super specialist service for adults and children with lymphoedema and other related conditions within the local area and around the country. 

The service has three bases (Florence Nightingale Community Hospital, Long Eaton Health Centre and Kings Mill Hospital) to provide services closer to home for people in Derby, Nottingham and Mansfield. 

This post is for Lymphoedema Support Worker at Kings Mill Hospital. 

Main duties of the job

The main elements of the role are:

To assist the clinical team in providing direct and individualised patient care and support.

To provide administrative support to the clinical team by ordering and posting requested lymphoedema garments and maintaining stock levels within the clinic.
