A unique opportunity has arisen for a part time band 3 audit and information facilitator to join the respiratory Inreach team. Candidates from an administration background will be considered. You will be required to act as a key member of the team, assisting in the collection and uploading of the data for the national COPD and Asthma audits. This information is used by NHS England to optimise patients care on a national as well as local level. As well as general administration tasks.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Job Purpose:
To act as a key member of the Chest Clinic clinical team collecting and uploading data for the National COPD and Asthma audits and providing analysis of performance for presentation to both internal and external audiences.
To advise and support clinicians in the development of safe and effective COPD and asthma pathways by way of data collection and audit.
Key Dimensions:
To provide data collection for the purpose of audit and reporting the effectiveness of services.
To carry out care / other duties under indirect supervision.
To extract and collate data required for the mandatory reporting of clinical performance to the RCP COPD, Asthma National Audits and Severe Asthma Registry. Working in a number of clinical areas within PHNT including ED department, Ambulatory Care Unit, MAU and other inpatient areas.
Validation of audit data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Maintain good links and relationships with other departments and external organisations.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
