Job overview

The role

At Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, we are working towards a culture at work where our people feel safe, healthy and supported, and our Strategic People Partners have a big role to play in this. At the same time, the Trust faces many operational and strategic challenges which are senior leadership teams require the support of a forward thinking, proactive and highly skilled influencer and problem solver to work in close partnership with them to come up with credible action plans which address the challenges before us. And of course, there is then the matter of enabling our People leaders to successfully then bring these plans off the page and to life!

As a Strategic People Partner, you will be driving forward a number of Trust and People priorities using your skills and passion, bringing our people with you. You will be linked to one of our Care Groups or Corporate Services areas as a commissioning point and then as a team we will work together to maximise teamwork, skillsets, passion and impact. You

We welcome curious minds, outcome focused individuals and those with a strength of will to challenge and to drive change. Who you are and how you operate, your leadership behaviours and style are what matter to most to us. We can teach you the day job! If you are passionate, commercially focused, eager to learn and lead with authenticity, we want to hear from you! NHS experience is helpful, but certainly not essential. If you are a flexible and agile individual who is still able to operate at pace even went all the answers are not known, you’ll be able to navigate the transition from another sector.
