What We are Looking For:

A qualified children’s nurse (RN Child or RSCN) with a passion for emergency care.

Someone with strong critical-thinking skills who can stay calm under pressure.

Experience in paediatric emergency care (or relevant transferable skills).

A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Essential Qualifications & Training:

Paediatric Life Support (PLS)

Child Protection Level 3 training

Mentorship course

Additional training (desirable but not essential):

Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) / European Paediatric Life Support (EPLS)

Major Incident Training

Person specification

Clinical, educationsl and experence

Essential criteria

Active Paediatric Nursing Registration (NMC)
PILS Course
Post Registration Experience
Safeguarding Training (Level 2)

Desirable criteria

EPALS (1), APLS (1), Safeguarding Training (Level 3) (1)
ED/Critical Care Experience
