Job overview
Are you a qualified Adults Audiologist looking to join a supportive team focused on quality care and service development.
We provide a range of services for adult patients including hearing diagnostics and rehabilitation, ENT support, vestibular assessment and tinnitus pathways. We also have a full complement of paediatric audiology services.
As an Audiologist you will be well-motivated, flexible, clear communicator and provide a comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitation service for our adult hearing patients. You will have a BSc in Audiology or equivalent and a year’s clinical experience and/or university clinical placement. You will already be able to make accurate clinical decisions and will work both autonomously, as well as part of a diverse team.
There will be opportunities for peer support and personal development. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual wishing to work in a dynamic NHS Dorset wide team, who wants to develop their skills and knowledge further,.
This post is a full-time weekday post. You would be focused on the East Dorset Hub, based in Bournemouth and other community sites around the local area.

Main duties of the job
You will contribute by accepting responsibility for the audiological care of adult patients with hearing problems, providing diagnostic hearing assessments and providing hearing aid rehabilitation. You will partake in clinical supervision and maintain professional development including knowledge and skills needed to accommodate changes in technology and clinical procedures.
