Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Lead  to support the delivery of exceptional patient care at Bournemouth East Adult CMHT.

We are seeking an experienced clinician with a strong background in Community Mental Health Teams and some leadership experience to join us as a Clinical Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for managing referrals, overseeing duty management and clinical coordination, as well as providing clinical supervision and performance monitoring for staff. You will hold a caseload of complex patients, delivering expert clinical care while supporting recruitment and staff development within the team. A thorough understanding of the CQC framework is essential, as is the ability to ensure compliance with all organisational standards.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and clinical skills, proven leadership abilities, and the capacity to maintain effective collaborative relationships across multidisciplinary teams.

  • Clinical degree and professional registration.
  • Post-graduate diploma or equivalent experience in a relevant area.
  • Significant experience of project and performance management within the NHS

  • Project management qualification.
