Job overview
To perform a project management role in Dorset’s Endoscopy Services, with responsibility for leading the review of the Dorset endoscopy strategy and the development and delivery of objectives for 25/26 and 26/27, including:
· Providing support to the Endoscopy Network responsible for the achievement of a fully networked endoscopy service for Dorset
· Working collaboratively with the Clinical lead for the Dorset Endoscopy network to support endoscopy services across Dorset
· Managing team members allocated to perform activities within the projects assigned to the Project Manager
· Providing high quality standards of project management, governance and assurance in support of delivery to internal and external stakeholders on all matters relating to the project
· Managing governance processes for delivery, including initiation stage, stage plans, highlights reports, and exception reports
· Establishing and manage overall project plans and associated project control documents
· Managing quality including risk and data quality assurance process
· Managing budgets and procurement activities for assigned projects and establishing and maintaining supplier relationships (if applicable)
· Developing and managing project communication plans
Base Location: Poole Hospital - cross site working will be required

Main duties of the job
The post holder will manage the assigned programme to deliver the desired outcomes in accordance with quality, budget and timescale specifications, thus performing a key role in keeping the programme on track to meet the objectives. This will involve:
- reviewing the effectiveness of the initial five year strategy
- gap analysis of outstanding work to develop a fully networked endoscopy service for Dorset
- streamlining administrative booking and triage processes
- implementation of a shared waiting list for Dorset
- developing advanced endoscopy services to ensure patients do not need to travel outside of the conurbation
- delivering a wide range of patient resources with a lean to the use of digital technologies where appropriate
- being a proactive member of the regional networks, sharing expertise with partners and bringing ideas and learning back to the Dorset network
- supporting the identification, recording, monitoring and management of project risks and issues
- producing report and papers for meeting and
- ensuring governance processes are followed
Having understood and embraced the scope, vision and aims for the programme the post holder will draw on the expertise and contributions from clinical, managerial and executive teams in their workstream to manage projects configuring models of care and activity by site. This work will link with the wider teams in the trust and also within the Dorset system, to ensure integrated pathways providing high quality care for patients.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent masters level qualification or equivalent experience
- Evidence of significant personal development through formal courses and/or experience
