The post holder will be a member of the therapies administration team to ensure an efficient service is provided for adult patients and their carers attending clinics. They will also provide assistant cover to various therapies classes.

The post holder will work closely with the team to ensure the delivery of a high quality service. They will require the utilisation of good secretarial, clerical, communication and interpersonal skills.
A polite and helpful first point of contact for patients, staff, and visitors to the Therapies Department at Weymouth Community Hospital and the Outpatient Therapies Centre in Charlton Down. To make patient appointments. To deal with enquires from patients, staff and visitors including by telephone, email, and face to face. The accurate sending and receiving of electronic data using hospital systems such as PAS and DPR.

The Therapies department is split between three different sites within Dorchester, Weymouth and Charlton Down. They provide clinical appointments, as well as different classes and gym groups.

- 4x GCSE Level C or equivalent including English and Maths

- BTEC or HND or NVQ level 2 or equivalent experience in relevant subject
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
