Are you a Dental Nurse looking for an interesting role in orthodontics?

We have a great opportunity for a dental nurse to join our busy and friendly team. This position is available part time, 4 days per week; Days to be discussed during interview.

Please note, this position will be based at Dorset County Hospital but there may be a requirement to work at Bournemouth Hospital.

Main duties of the job

You will:

  • Provide comprehensive support to the Clinical staff in all aspect of orthodontic treatment and dental surgery management
  • Prepare clinical areas including instrument care and management, cross infection control, managing equipment and materials as required.
  • Support the team in providing high quality patient focussed care

You have:

  • Full GDC registration
  • Hold a Certificate of Dental Nursing or equivalent NVQ
  • Experience of dental nursing preferably in a hospital setting

  • Previous experience working either in Practice / Community / Hospital

Education, Qualifications & Training

  • Hold a Certificate of Dental Nursing or equivalent NVQ
  • Full Registration with GDC

  • Good organisational ability
  • Good communication skills
  • Good understanding of cross infection control within the surgery
