Job overview

We currently have a 22.5 hour vacancy in The Vale District Nursing Teams., based in Shaftesbury community hospital. You will require excellent communication and interpersonal  skills when clinically caring for complex patients in the community setting.

The Staff Nurse post is a full-time role, we would be flexible and accept part time applications with a minimum of 15 hours. We have a variety of flexible shifts listed below.

Early - 07.30 – 15.30

Late - 12.30 – 20.30

Nights – 20.15 – 07.45

Weekend and public holidays at enhanced pay!

Main duties of the job

You will need enthusiasm and a commitment to provide the highest standards of care to patients, relative and carers, and the ability to provide professional clinical leadership. You will need to have an interest in working with older people and have good communication and organisational skills.
