Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Clinical Research Facility at University Hospitals Sussex. Working alongside the Research Team and Trial Coordinators at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Main duties of the job
You will be the first point of contact for the patients attending the Clinical Research Facility. You will provide a line of communication between the Research Nurses, patients and the wider team to ensure smooth running of the unit. You will also provide administrative support to the Clinical Research team. This will include using electronic systems.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The post holder will greet patients attending appointments at the Clinical Research Facility. This will also include liaising with the clinical team to ensure a smooth and efficient service from start to finish for our patients.
Patients travel and clinical trial expenses will need to be processed and recorded daily.
Assisting with booking clinic space and transport for appointments as instructed by the clinical team.
To assist the clinical and clerical teams with any administrative tasks to aid with the smooth running of the unit.
