Job overview
We are looking Clerical officers to join our reception teams supporting our patient flow through the Radiology department in St Richard's Hospital.
You will need to be friendly, well-organised, motivated and work to a high degree of accuracy.
The role will involve reception duties, organising sessions, and general support to the administration team.
Candidates will need to be flexible in their approach to work as well as in their support of colleagues within the service demands.
The successful post holder should have a proactive and friendly attitude and be able to demonstrate administrative experience and be able to meet the main duties of the role as identified in the job description. We are a busy department, which requires excellent team working and flexibility.
Main duties of the job
- Reception duties including answering the telephone and face-to-face patient contact
- Supporting patient and Clinical enquiries
- Emailing and posting of patient letters / reports
- Arranging patient sessions as required
- Taking post to post room
- Inputting data to allow accurate recording of statistics
- Undertake booking patients if required by the Service
