An opportunity has arisen for experienced Practitioner to join our friendly, established nursing and medical team working flexibly via our Bank within the Unit at Crawley UTC , Horsham MIU AND Bognor MIU
Our Urgent Treatment Centre provides urgent and unscheduled care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a fully integrated ambulatory primary care service for the Crawley population and surrounding communities.
Main duties of the job
Working in the Urgent Treatment Centre, you will assess and prioritise patients presenting to the unit whilst ensuring safe, efficient, and effective treatment of all patients within a predefined target time of arrival.
You will demonstrate a calm and confident approach to your work demonstrating excellent nursing and communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively.

Criteria
Essential criteria
- Completed and obtained RN and has current live PIN on NMC or HCPC register
- Autonomous Practice/Management of Minor Injuries course
- Minor Ailments Course
- Mentor preparation
- ILS/ALERT or ALS
Experience
Essential criteria
- Minimum of 3 year’s experience within an acute/urgent care setting as a Registered Nurse, Practitioner with knowledge and skills specific to urgent care.
- Experience of working with Minor Injuries/Minor ailments and more complex medical and surgical conditions.
- Experience in supervision of others, working as a shift leader, leading the team.
- Experience of clinical supervision and the mentorship of peers and students.
