Applications are invited for the post of junior fellow in Gastroenterology. This is a 12 month fixed term post available from 7th  August 2019. The post is ideally suited to an enthusiastic individual who has completed core medical training and wishes to build on their experience prior to further specialty training.

This is an exciting opportunity to experience inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology in a DGH setting. We have 3 substantive consultant gastroenterologists and 3 locum consultant gastroenterologists  with specialist interests that include inflammatory bowel disease, nutrition, advanced endoscopy, pancreaticobiliary medicine, small bowel disease and academic research. The successful applicant will be supported to  do non-laboratory clinical research or quality improvement project and could  participate in recruitment to clinical trials.

Applicants should have 2 years’ experience of working at CMT level, should have full registration with the GMC and be eligible to work in the UK.
