We have an exciting opportunity for an individula to join our portering team at Eastbourne Hospital .
Main duties of the job
A porter within a busy acute hospital setting will carry out many responsible duties. The main role and responsibilities are to move patients around from wards and departments such as X-Ray, CT, MRI, A&E.
Porters also attend fire calls, Emergency calls, Resus calls to assist the clinical teams, medical gasses and helicopter landings. This is a varied jobs role which the successful applicant will be required to be in good physical health.
A Trust induction and full training will be given.
