MSK Therapies – Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Administrator

 We are looking for a friendly and approachable individual to work as a Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Administrator with the MSK Therapies department. 

This is a cross site role and the successful applicant will also be required to support the Pelvic Health Team across a number of our community sites within East Sussex. 

 

Main duties of the job

 

The post holder will support the delivery of an effective and efficient administration service to the Pelvic Health Physiotherapy service, across all sites, including the uploading of referrals, booking of appointments, booking of classes (both in person and virtual), and recording of ward contacts.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Good general education to GCSE Grade C or above, with English and Maths
  • Typing / text processing / data entry skills to RSAII or equivalent OR Administration NVQ2 or equivalent skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Packages including IT skills in excel, word processing (typing) and data entry
Desirable criteria
  • ECDL or other recognised IT qualification
  • Qualification in use of Microsoft Office Packages

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Good understanding of office procedures and general clerical experience
  • Must be used to working in busy environment with a variety of different people
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of Computerised Booking Systems
  • Proven experience of working in a busy Reception

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Essential criteria
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills both verbally and written
  • Good IT skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to work both in a team and unsupervised
Desirable criteria
  • Ability to undertake work of a repetitive nature
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology
  • Prior use of eSearcher, SystmOne, EXCEL
