Job overview
This role is to fully support the Estates & Facilities management team in the provision of an operation service, to include a comprehensive secretarial and administration service.
To fully support the Business Services Officer in the service of administering information systems for the Estates & Facilities division and ensure that suitable and adequate administration support is provided to the Estates and Facilities management team.
The post holder will be required to support the Estates & Facilities HealthRoster Lead with the processing of information on the HealthRoster Time & Attendance system across the division through on-going administration, cover in periods of absence of the payroll lockdown and reports.

Post 1: Monday to Friday 0800-1600
Post 2: Monday to Friday 0800-1400

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Good general education to GCSE or equivalent with evidence of good numeracy and literacy.
- RSA II text and word processing or equivalent experience
- Typing and keyboard skills to RSA III or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration
Desirable criteria
- Shorthand skills
Experience
Essential criteria
- Evidence of previous administration or secretarial experience in a busy working office environment
- Experience of providing a customer care service
- Experience on Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher
- Experience in transcribing notes/minutes from recording
Desirable criteria
- Previous NHS administrative experience
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Essential criteria
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programs -
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Accurate IT and keyboard skills including Excel spreadsheets shorthand
- Experienced in both copy and audio typing
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised during periods of time
- High standard of organisational ability
Desirable criteria
