Job overview

To fully support the administrative services of the Urology Investigation Suite.
To provide UIS administrative, reception and clerical services.
The post will involve taking and answering phone calls from patients, carers and healthcare professionals,  booking  Out-patient appointments, covering reception duties as required and general admin and clerical duties.

We are looking for the applicant to ideally work Monday and Friday.  There will be a requirement for some flexibility in the working days pattern to meet the demands of the service, eg cover annual leave.  This will be planned in advance and by agreement.

Main duties of the job

Taking telephone calls and dealing with patient enquiries.

Making and amending out patient appointments

Reception cover when reception team on leave or unavailable
