Job overview

We're looking to recruit Digital Asset Analysts to oversee and manage our digital assets, including hardware, software and equipment.

Working as part of our Client Devices team, the successful candidates will respond to requests for equipment and assist with stock control, reporting and the provision of replenishment services.

There will also be the requirement to visit other sites to conduct audits of equipment and so a full driving license is an essential requirement for this post.

Please note, these are entry level positions which would be ideal for someone looking for their first job in IT. Full training will be given.

Main duties of the job

Our ideal candidates will have experience of stock control in a large organisation and also have worked within an IT environment, with intermediate knowledge of IT systems and software programmes.

The ability to provide a high level of customer service will be essential for the role, as will the ability to explain complex technical information so that it can be understood by non-technical colleagues and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

The posts will be based at either Conquest Hospital or Eastbourne DGH.

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Good level of general education including Maths & English
  • Educated to NVQ 3 / GCSE level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience
Desirable criteria
  • ITIL Foundation

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Worked within customer facing IT environment with general understanding of customer environment
  • At least one year’s experience of stock control and management processes in a large organisation (500 users+)
  • Experience of auditing IT equipment
Desirable criteria
  • Knowledge of Service Management and Service Delivery principles, specifically experience of working in an ITIL compliant organisation and working with an ITIL compliant operating model.
