Job overview

A great opportunity has arisen to join the Parking Team, based at the Conquest Hospital.  

You will be helping to ensure good customer service in the day to day running of the car park areas dealing with patients, visitors and staff. 

Main duties of the job

The role will involve dealing with patients, visitors and staff by answering queries regarding the car parks, taking payments and validating parking tickets. 

You will be assisting in the recording of parking data onto a dedicated database.  This role will also include daily patrols in staff areas ensuring staff are displaying a valid permit and parking legally.  Part of the role would be to use the permit database which provides information of staff permits.

  • Previous experience of dealing with the general public
  • Previous experience of working as part of a team
  • Previous experience of handling cash

Skills

  • Good communicating skills including the ability to diffuse difficult situations
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good keyboard and IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word
  • Ability to work as part of a team and or individually using own initiative
  • Ability to understand and process applications for permits and the requirements for recording

  • Knowledge of ESHT hospital site
