Job overview
APPLICANTS MUST HOLD THE NURSING ASSOCIATE QUALIFICATION OR SOON TO QUALIFY.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and motivated Registered Nursing Associate to join our excellent nursing team on Hurstpierpoint Ward at Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath.
This is an outstanding opportunity if you are looking for a new challenge and would like to continue your professional development journey.
You will be working with a friendly and experienced multidisciplinary team, providing patient centered and evidence based care. Hurstpierpoint Ward cares for patients who are frail and often have specialist needs due to dementia and cognitive impairment. Our aim is to provide the best care possible to prevent deconditioning and promote independence. You will be accountable for your own practice while supporting the registered nurse by caring for patients and delivering high standards of care.
To succeed, you’ll need to be committed to delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development.
For newly qualified Nursing Associates the trust has a robust preceptorship programme and you will receive excellent opportunities for development. Along the way, you will be supported by the in-house Practice Development Nurse or a named mentor who will oversee your training needs, supported by the wider divisional education team.
Main duties of the job
We welcome applications from those who currently hold a UK NMC registration. If you currently hold an overseas nursing qualification and require sponsorship we are not currently direct hiring Internationally Qualified Nurses.
