Benson & Egerton Trauma Unit is a busy 62 bedded ward, which undertakes emergency admissions.  

We are looking for 3 enthusiastic and dynamic Clinical Support Workers to join our busy team.  The team is friendly and supportive with a strong commitment to providing a high standard of care.  This is a role where you will be offered support to develop your skills.  Completion of care certificate encouraged.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

The Clinical Support Worker (CSW) is a member of the care team  who will support colleagues in the delivery of routine patient care. 

The CSW will undertake a broad range of care 
activities under the direct supervision of a Registered Practitioner. 

The CSW will also work closely and under supervision of the Staff Nurse.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 or Functional skills for English/Maths
  • Care Certificate
Meini prawf dymunol
  • 5 GCSE grade 4 or C and above or equivalent
  • Evidence of mandatory and statutory essential training skills, for example, Basic Life Support, manual handling, infection control, fire etc
  • Education and training to NVQ level 3/Work based diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • Relevant experience of working in Health or Social Care Environment delivering personal care

  • Relevant experience working in the NHS

Skills
