We are looking for someone who can thrive in a fast paced busy office environment and provide a high level of administrative and secretarial support to the Anaesthetic clinicians within East Sussex Healthcare Trust.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high level of administrative and secretarial support to the Anaesthetic Clinicians by assisting daily with maintaining the electronic administration systems and diaries, rotas, answering the telephones and assisting with any other department or personnel related questions or issues which may arise.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Good General Education – GCSE /Level A-C including English and Maths or equivalent.
- NVQ level 3 Business and Administration or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
- RSA II text and word processing or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
Desirable criteria
- ECDL or alternative IT qualification or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
Experience
Essential criteria
- Evidence of previous administration or secretarial experience in a busy environment
- Previous experience of record keeping and filing systems
- Experience of organising and prioritising own workload, working in a busy environment, and meeting deadlines
Desirable criteria
- Rotamap/ CLW rota experience
- Previous experience or using computerised systems i.e Big Hand
- Previous NHS administration experience
