We are pleased to offer a role in our radiology team. The successful candidate will be supporting the team with the administration of the Department.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be required to work as a part of a team who
is responsible for providing a comprehensive and efficient administration service to the Radiology department.
The post holder will need to gain knowledge of a wide range of booking protocols and specific standards to enable them to make, amend and cancel appointments.
The post holder will be required to liaise with a variety of clinical and non-clinical staff from inside and outside Sussex Premier Health.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Evidence of good general education to GCSE level including maths and English
- NVQ 2 in Business Administration or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
- Evidence of continued professional development in relevant field
Desirable criteria
- ECDL or equivalent computer qualification
- RSA III secretarial qualification or proven equivalent knowledge and experience.
Experience
Essential criteria
- Previous experience of working in a busy office environment
- Previous experience of using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
Skills
Essential criteria
- Good audio / typing and computer skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to organise and prioritise own work load
