Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Ward Clerk to work on the Cardiology wards, C26, C27, C28 & CMU

Saturday and Sunday 07.00-15.00 with 30mins unpaid break (negotiable start/finish time) and Monday 07.00-12.00 = 20 hours

You will be responsible for updating bed states, admitting and discharging patients, requesting and filing of case notes and general admin duties

  • A good understanding of and strong interest in the NHS
  • Experience of working effectively, uses their initiative and can think on their feet

  • An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a range of people, including senior key stakeholders and colleagues
