Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated person to join Hub 3 within the Appointments & Referrals Centre as a Senior Administrator.

The successful applicant will work within the Appointments & Referrals Centre, overseeing a large team of staff and a busy Call Centre environment. 

This role will entail overseeing the day to day running of a busy call centre, supervising a large team of staff within the office and those home working ensuring patients are moved along their pathway in a smooth and efficient manner. The role also includes managing staff ensuring all 1-2-1's, appraisals, sickness reviews e don in a timely manager.

Booking of clinics and appointments, providing a professional service to patients over the telephone, liaise with GP’s and other external clinical colleagues and other administrative roles as required, inputting information onto databases and handling patient records.

Attention to detail is vital and the ability to follow strict information governance procedures.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant needs be able to confidently and competently work under pressure, be able to work flexibly and prioritise their workload  to meet demands and deadlines across two specialties
